The Generational Cost
One of the greatest misconceptions is the belief that once the harmful behaviors cease, the family simply heals
They do not.
By that point, years of instability, broken trust, emotional labor, and quiet adaptation have already left their mark on the family.
Children absorb what they witness
They adapt to the environment around them.
What remains unresolved today becomes part of tomorrow’s inheritance
And that is too high of a price to pay.
Restoration Within the System
Family restoration is not an addition to the process
It is essential.
The children must be protected
The spouse must be supported
The family must be restored
Not because they chose the experience —
but because they have carried its weight.
